This something to do with the intake camshaft timing direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded also turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance is the final reason of the code. |
05879 Possible Causes:
05879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05879 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
