The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so turbo/super charger over-boost condition . On the other hand control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
05877 Possible Causes:
05877 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05877 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
