This code were stamped on VW Engine case secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open and accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
05876 Possible Causes:
05876 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05876 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
