The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit or throttle actuator control system, forced limited power is the final reason of the code. |

05871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
