Staring in engine relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 1, circuit low . So for next transmission control unit (j217), programming error is the final reason of the code. |
05870 Possible Causes:
05870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 05870 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
