Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground or change bank 1; system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
05868 Possible Causes:
05868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05868 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
