The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation starter relay 2, short to b+ or change ignition switch accessory position, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05865 Possible Causes:
05865 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05865 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
