Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance or exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
05860 Possible Causes:
05860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05860 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
