Accumulated in electronic control units so powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply voltage, open circuit or hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low is the final reason of the code. |
05858 Possible Causes:
05858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05858 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
