Staring in engine engine coolant level low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal high or turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
05857 Possible Causes:
05857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05857 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
