This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ and wait then fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05853 Possible Causes:
05853 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05853 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
