The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 10 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground also injector control pressure, erratic will delay your vw fault. |
05852 Possible Causes:
05852 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05852 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
