Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05851 Possible Causes:
05851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05851 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
