05850 Possible Causes:
05850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05850 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
