This code were stamped on VW Engine case nox sensor bank 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open or o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
05846 Possible Causes:
05846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05846 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
