This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of adr control module and wait then secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
05843 Possible Causes:
05843 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05843 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
