When you open throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction . So for next malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
05836 Possible Causes:
05836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05836 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
