This something to do with the intake camshaft timing auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible and wait then nox sensor bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
05813 Possible Causes:
05813 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05813 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
