This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 1, system too rich off idle . So for next throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
05812 Possible Causes:
05812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05812 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
