05811 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ or o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05811 Possible Causes:
05811 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05811 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
