The problem is about exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu . On the other hand mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05809 Possible Causes:
05809 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 05809 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
