Staring in engine sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05808 Possible Causes:
05808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05808 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply terminal 30, voltage too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
