This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger control module 2, implausible message and wait then signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
05800 Possible Causes:
05800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 05800 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
