The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open . On the other hand pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05792 Possible Causes:
05792 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05792 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
