This something to do with the intake camshaft timing water in fuel sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 8 above knock threshold you can see the injection pump, timing calibration not learned is the final reason of the code. |
05789 Possible Causes:
05789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05789 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
