Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor or fuel pump "b", low flow / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05785 Possible Causes:
05785 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05785 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
