The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |

05781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 05781 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
