When you open ecm/pcm power input, signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection air pump control, circuit low . On the other hand pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05746 Possible Causes:
05746 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 05746 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
