This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module defective and wait then outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05745 Possible Causes:
05745 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05745 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
