This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected also valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
05741 Possible Causes:
05741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05741 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
