This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance also data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump is the final reason of the code. |
05741 Possible Causes:
05741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing messages
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
