Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
05738 Possible Causes:
05738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 05738 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
