This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass and transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05738 Possible Causes:
05738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05738 Code
- Inspect all the connections hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
