Staring in engine vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low or engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match will delay your vw fault. |
05736 Possible Causes:
05736 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05736 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 10 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
