Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely or coolant fan (v7), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05731 Possible Causes:
05731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05731 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
