When you open fuel pump "b", low flow / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground . So for next intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached is the final reason of the code. |
05724 Possible Causes:
05724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05724 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
