Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit or change secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
05723 Possible Causes:
05723 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05723 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
