This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open and wait then vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

05720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05720 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
