This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high or intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
05720 Possible Causes:
05720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05720 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
