Staring in engine ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical or change shift lock, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
05716 Possible Causes:
05716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05716 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
