This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so air leak between throttle body and intake valves and control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
05712 Possible Causes:
05712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05712 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 signal implausible for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
