Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ also ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
05712 Possible Causes:
05712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05712 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
