The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control unit error programming error or change leak in air intake system will delay your vw fault. |
05705 Possible Causes:
05705 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05705 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
