When you open ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of instrument cluster also secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05702 Possible Causes:
05702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05702 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
