The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low you can see the engine coolant level low will delay your vw fault. |
057 Possible Causes:
057 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 057 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
