When you open o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges will delay your vw fault. |
057 Possible Causes:
057 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 057 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
