This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start air cleaner inlet control, circuit high and fuel supply heater, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
057 Possible Causes:
057 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 057 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
