Diameter in engine exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles controller pin coding, implausible signal you can see the sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low is the final reason of the code. |

05696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 05696 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
