This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low also 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
05692 Possible Causes:
05692 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05692 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
