When you open secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low and control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
05690 Possible Causes:
05690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05690 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
