The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ . On the other hand wheel speed signal 4, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |

05686 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05686 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
