Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low and wait then sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high will delay your vw fault. |
05683 Possible Causes:
05683 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 05683 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
