This something to do with the intake camshaft timing starter interlock, circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
05664 Possible Causes:
05664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05664 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
