This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake internal control module, driver error . So for next bank 1, system too rich at idle will delay your vw fault. |

05654 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 05654 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
