This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure regulator, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical also relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05649 Possible Causes:
05649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05649 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
