Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely and reversing light, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
05646 Possible Causes:
05646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05646 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 9 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
